he wolf / she man

sonic performance art for a couple

Katharina Haverich | Christopher Hotti Böhm

Through a chain of technical-alchemistic bodily procedures, an intimate psychogeography of past desires and anxieties between two individuals unfolds. Live and pre-recorded sounds form a compositional framework that leads through the scenes. For years, Haverich and Böhm have been using this sonic art performance to explore current post-romantic terrains. Fragility, antagonism, care and functional brutality create a range of techno-fetishistic gender images.

Katharina Haverich is a performance artist and invited musician and performer Christopher Hotti Böhm to develop this show during a residency in the Spanish mountains of Murcia. They work with personal nightmares and draw from biographic as well as familial stages.

"he wolf / she man" takes place during the Berlin Art Week.
