Just in time for the commemoration of the 255th anniversary of the death of Georg Philipp Telemann, who died in Hamburg on June 25, 1767, the lautten compagney optimizes parts of his incredibly confusing complete works. For the grand master of the baroque, there was no musical genre that he did not serve: orchestral suites, chamber music for all conceivable instrumentations, piano and organ music, church music in all forms and many operas.
On this evening, the ensemble turns its focus to Eastern Europe, more precisely to Poland. Under the motto "Polonoise de Telleman," the compagney takes a musical journey into the spheres of Polish folk music of the 18th century.
