Granhøj Dans

The interactive dance performance "FU-SoMe" challenges the physical presence of a dance performance with the means of social media and combines stage life and virtual life. The protagonist and host of the evening, goes on the eternal social media hike for Likes and friend requests. The audience is given smartphones they can use to control the course of the performance. The goal is the ultimate self-dramatization.

Further performances at Teaterøen (Copenhagen) and Svalegangen (Aarhus)

The productions of the Danish company Granhøj Dans, founded in 1989, are created under the direction of choreographer Palle Granhøj in close cooperation with the dancers*. In their works they often critically examine the influence of social media on society and especially on body language and perception. A special feature is the Obstruction Technique developed by Palle Granhøj, with which every new work begins. At the Theater im Delphi they are now showing the world premiere of one of their works for the third time.
