DARA Strings meets Chuchchepati Orchestra - a spatial sound concert installation with strings & electronics. Seven international and interdisciplinary artists come together to present a broad spectrum of innovative music that transcends genres.

This week-long concert tour in Switzerland and Germany, featuring a joint string ensemble, is a first-time collaboration between the DARA String Festival and the Chuchchepati Orchestra. Their instruments are distributed throughout the space via a multi-channel speaker installation and enhanced with live electronics. The speakers, with their characteristic resonance, expand the ensemble’s sound and create a site-specific overall soundscape integrating modern technologies and spatial phenomena.

The programme is complemented by small acoustic sets.
