Festival for deaf and hearing people including film premieres and live acts such as sign language poetry, drumming, aikido and performances. All in German spoken and sign language. The film, which will be shown at 6pm and 8pm, is about the SpreeparkHEXE, who lands with her broom (scooter) in the famous Spreepark in Berlin/Treptow. She finds old Ferris wheel gondolas and an abandoned park railway. In sign language and with original recordings, she guides the audience through a variety of stories about the former amusement park and arouses anticipation for its planned reopening as a unique ART-CULTURE and NATURE PARK in two years' time.

The KULTURspreePARK e.V. association has produced a documentary to mark its tenth anniversary: The SpreeparkHEXE lands in the park with her broom (scooter), finds old Ferris wheel gondolas and a park railway that has been parked. She tells a variety of stories about the former amusement park, also in sign language and with original footage.

You meet people from Grün Berlin gGmbh, artists and workshop leaders who talk about planning, development and the ‘Identity’ festival day in the park.
The documentary film takes deaf and hearing viewers alike on a special journey in which the past, present and future of Spreepark can be experienced in a creative, enchanting and inclusive way.

The film will be shown at 6 pm (family screening) and 8 pm. Duration: approx. 1 hour each. It is possible to come and go at any time during the evening.

Live performances with the protagonists and the SpreeparkHEXE will take place after the film screenings. There will be encounters and talks with sign language interpreters.
