CALL ME A PUSSY

A one-woman circus about Burlesque

Laura Stokes

Equal parts comedy, contortion, virtuosic feats & variety-show. Award winning artist Laura Stoke weaves together a story of archetypes that challenge sexism, individualism, and nationalism.
CALL ME A PUSSY draws from the rich history of the early burlesque movement to create an emotionally potent, upbeat, eccentric and politically relevant piece of physical theater and intelligent, sexy, subversive entertainment art. It is at once strikingly pertinent to our times, and a timeless celebration of the cultural legacy of Burlesque and all things female, a feast for the eyes, heart and intellect.

Please note that there is nudity and adult themes in the show.
